1975 saw 9 Oxfordshire Pig Farmers join forces to co-operatively market their produce, either as weaners or finished pigs. TVC was born and was based in Wallingford, as it still is today.

Controlled expansion with like minded pig farmers, who were able to match rigid product requirements, continued apace.

Expansion into the South West came at the end of the 1990’s safeguarding the livelihood of both large and small pig producers in the region.

Further expansion through growth and acquisition in 2008 and 2010 has seen a dramatic increase in pig throughput. Since early 2010 Fat Cattle, Cull Cows and Lambs are also traded.

TVC supply all the major pig processors, as well as many smaller specialist outlets throughout the UK.
